Events of February

BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF LORD BADEN POWELL :

THINKING DAY AT K.V.O.F AMBAJHARI, NAGPUR

The birth Anniversary of  Lord Baden Powell was observed as thinking day on 22 February 2013 at K.V Ambajhari premises. The function was presided by the Principal, Mr. I.R. Barsagade  and the Vice Principal,Mr. R. N Mohker, , H.M ,Mrs. J. Sengupta were the other chief dignitaries present on the occasion.  The day commenced with Flag breaking ceremony  followed by offering floral tribute to the portrait of Baden Powell by the Principal and the other dignitaries.

Prabhatbheri was done by the scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls  along with the trained Scouts masters and guide captains from k.V Ambajhari to Tulani  Chowk for propagating the valuable message to the society. Several cultural programmes namely Sarva dharma Prayer, group song, skits conveying social messages were organized.

The venue principal threw light on the history of Scouts Guide movement and its contribution to the society. Refreshment was provided to the participants for the fruitful accomplishment of the event. All the scout and guide teachers played a pivotal role for the grand success of the event under the able leadership of the Principal and the Vice-principal. Thus the thinking day marked its indelible impression in the history of K.VAmbajhari.

Events of December

Kendriya vidyalaya Ambajhari was in a festive mood while celebrating K.V.S Foundation day on 15 December 2012. It was indeed a proud moment for the vidyalaya when Mr. I.R Barsagade, the principal of the vidyalya hoisted the K.V.S flag which was followed by lighting the lamp and offering flowers to the idol of goddess Saraswati.

All the K.V.S employees as well as the students of the vidyalaya were feeling honoured to be a part of the institution when the honourable principal administered the pledge of K.V.S FoundationDay. The K.V.S song, the Vidyalaya Geet and the community song sung by the students and the Rajasthani dance performed by the primary students enhanced the grandeur of the event especially when K.V.S is going to create a milestone by entering the Golden Jubilee Year in 2013.Speech delivered by the students in Hindi as well as in English reflected the journey and achievement of K.V.S for the past 49 years in pursuit of excellence. Mr.J.R Sawarkar, T.G.T Hindi sang a melodious song to inspire the students not to lose hope and to keep climbing the ladder of success and the whole vidyalaya sang along with him.

The Principal of the vidyalaya concluded the event by his words of appreciation and the relevance of such a prestigious institution. The students were highly motivated to keep up to the expectations of the vidyalaya by his words of inspiration. The whole event grabbed the whole attention of the vidyalaya which was conducted under the able guidance of the respected Principal. The programme was a grand success which glorified the fame of the Vidyalaya as well as the K.V.S organisation.

EVENTS OF OCTOBER

1)Celebration of Gandhi Jayanti : The birthday of Gandhiji was commemorated with lighting the lamp which was followed by the address our Principal. Scouts and Guide students offered their services by cleaning the nearby vicinities of our vidyalaya thereby offering selfless service like Gandhiji.

2)Flower Rangoli

The school was in a festive mood when various house competed to make flower Rangolis of different patterns and enhancing its beauty by decorating it with lamps and candles. The Principal appreciated the talents of the students and their creativity.

EVENTS OF SEPTEMBER

1)Teachers Day

K.v. Ambajhari gave due honour to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan , the great indian philosopher by organizing teacher’s day programme on 5^th September 2012. Our honourable principal, Mr. I.R.Barsagade commenced the auspicious occasion by offering flowers and garlanding the portrait of Dr. S.Radhakrishnan , followed by lighting the lamp . The enthusiasm of the teacher’s day was evident when the student, teachers of class XII greeted the principal and teachers with cards and flowers . Class XII students carried out the task of teaching their juniors under the able guidance of their subject teachers

2)Hindi Pakhwada

After the completion of SA/MT/LIT Examinations for various classes the ambience of the vidyalaya was filled with respect for hindi , the national language of India while celebrating hindi pakhwada successfully from 15^th September 2012 – 28^th September 2012. Hindi debate, recitation ,moral talk ,essay writing by bthe students as well as the teachers were the highlights of the event.

3) Social Science Exhibition

Social science exhibition was held at school level on 27^th September 2012. The feeling of national integration was evoked by the skillfully made projects under the guidance of social science teachers based on Turkey and Kerela. It was a proud moment for K.V.Ambajhari when our student bagged 1^stposition in skit as well as in quiz out of 12 schools at cluster level which was conducted at K.V.Kamptee.

Hindi debate stood II position and English debate received III position thereby enhancing the fame of our Vidyalya.

Our respected Principal Sir appreciated the efforts put by the students and teachers when our school received II Position for skit and consolation prize for quiz at regional level which was conducted in KV, CMM Jabalpur. It was noteworthy that three projects were selected for regional level.

4) International year of Mathematics - International year of Mathematics was celebrated with great zest, when the whole vidyalaya throbbed with activities involving mathematical quiz, paper reading, maths exhibition etx. It was visually appealing for the viewers when the house display boards, class display boards and the wall were decorated with topics like maths in every day lif and maths in nature. Every Thursday student presented special items on Maths in Morning assembly.
